What:
Aerium and its regional partners invite the public and media to the official launch of Drone814 (ELSa-M3) - a groundbreaking initiative featuring a multi-mission, multi-modal drone system designed to enhance public safety operations, infrastructure monitoring, and STEM education throughout Greater Johnstown and the Southern Alleghenies.

This two-night event will include presentations and panel discussions covering the technologies being deployed, project logistics and timing, and the broader impact of this launch phase. Attendees will hear directly from public and private collaborators on how Drone814 will serve local communities, schools, emergency responders, and planners.

This initiative positions southwestern Pennsylvania at the forefront of innovation in drone operations, education, and emergency preparedness, laying the groundwork for a lasting regional impact. This phase represents the first of many in the state, provided proof-of-concept standards are met under the U.S. Department of Transportation Smart Grant.
